Sociopaths and public corporations only act in their self-interest. In the case of a public corporation, it's illegal to act in any other way.

I think philosophers who extol others to act morally and save the starving, disease ridden and poverty stricken people of the world should themselves quit philosophy and do something real to help these people; lest they be labelled hypocrites.

the reward of eternal heavenly existence is the furthest thing away from the cause of certain moral actions...
