Is there a God? If so, what is She like?

Last Mystical Ouzo Event

Post by bobevenson »

When I decided to put the Ouzo papers on the web, I used guru.com to find a freelancer to design the site. I got a dozen or more applicants from all over the world. One of them was a designer in California who said, "I didn't read the entire PDF file, but it's bizarre to say the least." He then added, "I have an idea that will lend power to the concept." Of course, my normal reaction would have been, "What concept, he said it's bizarre to say the least," and written him off, but for some mystical reason I went ahead and hired him even though he didn't quote the lowest price. He completed the site in only 3 or 4 days, and since I was only expecting a simple template design, at first I was negatively stunned by his work. But I soon realized the site was designed by somebody with a deep understanding of the material, deeper than my own, and it certainly couldn't have been that freelancer. The site is at http://church-of-ouzo.com.

It's scary, and I hope you don't keep your dead mother in that little room on top.

There are literally millions of church images available on the web, and I guess you could spend a lifetime looking at them, but even if you did, you couldn't find another image equal to the one selected.

I thought there would be more comments about your website. Disappointing. What are you going to do with it? You don't have anywhere for comments.

If you click "Contact," you can leave a comment. I'm not going to do anything with it, it's just there.
