How will you know if you've received a satisfying answer to the question "What makes a thought deep?"?

I suppose I'll be satisfied. That seemed like a really good question, and honestly, even a little bit like a somewhat deep one. Anyone else agree?

• I think I should rephrase to "What is depth?"

I don't know much about "brooding" but I know I looked it up in Apple's dictionary, and it said: "to think deeply about something that makes one unhappy." If that is true, then we might be in luck, because we have an example of a certain kind of thinking deep. Not exactly what I expected. Any brooders care to share their personal insights into the nature of their brand of deep thought?
