If so, then why do so many BLACK LIVES (and white lives and yellow lives and brown lives and ...) turn themselves over, lock, stock, and barrel, to be used as resource by the powers that be (public and private)?

Pretty much any one turning to (elected or [self] appointed) authority for solutions as first (second, third, or fourth) option is willingly 'meat'. Pretty much any one who herds up (swept up in the impulse of the moment) is willingly 'meat'. The abattoir is a metaphor ('meataphor' HA!).

That's my take, Gary, but then, what the hell do I know? I'm just an anarchistic sociopath (better that than 'meat').

Put another way: 98 out of a 100 wanna be directed (meat), the 99th wants to direct (the butcher), the 100th wouldn't piss on the other 99 is they were on fire (the self-directing).

Again: not sweatin' for 'meat' (or its harvesters).

Black lives matter! Unfortunately, their leaders are pseudo-intellectuals that only want to get in front of a camera. (However, it is interesting that Mellisa Johnson is a tea partier! Yes, a black tea partier). I am sure they would shout down Martin Luther King (chanting,"Black lives matter). The leadership. of black lives matter are destroying the movement.
I have written MoveOn and suggested they distance themselves from the black lives matter movement. And only resume support if they change their leadership.

LA PLATA, Md. (WJLA) —A Maryland man has been arrested for making threats against La Plata residents on social media.

Carlos Anthony Hollins, 20, of Waldorf, Maryland, has been charged with threats of mass violence for allegedly sending a tweet Wednesday afternoon that read:

IM NOT GONNA STAND FOR THIS NO. MORE. TONIGHT WE PURGE ! KILL ALL THE WHITE PPL IN THE TOWN OF LAPLATA. #BLACKLIVESMATTER
The Twitter account from which the tweet was sent has since been suspended.

The La Plata Police Department has deployed additional officers to patrol the streets following the threat.

No further details about the incident have been released.

Hollins is being held on $250,000 bond.

I think, if I were to highlight any point for you,it would be that African Americans are incredibly frustrated with being looked-at as second class citizens where some civil rights are overlooked or not so supported...and frankly I am also tired of this dynamic in America.
