Do Philosophers Talk Nonsense?
Re: Do Philosophers Talk Nonsense?
In large part I think they do. I only enjoy certain philosophers, a very small group actually. I have read through some contemporary philosophy
since I've gotten back into philosophy lately. They seem to make up words and/or new uses of words more than any other discipline I can think of.
I think it's just a cover for a lack of creativity and originality in thoughts and ideas.

Philosophers have a lot in common with economists except that the latter are much more dangerous.Wyman wrote:They seem to make up words and/or new uses of words more than any other discipline I can think of.
