In America we lose roughly 89 Americans A DAY through gun violence.

Why?


If we lost 1/10 of that amount of individuals in an external war there would be an outcry heard for decades.


Why? Why don't we even recognize this internal war where we lose upwards of 25,000 Americans per year?

It does inflame the issues somewhat when you throw live rounds into it. But removing all guns from civilian population would not stop the continuing structural violence your nation exhibits. The gun is an outlet for the pain that your society unleashes on the individual. Plus you need your guns to defend against the criminals in power, just stop using them against yourselves and rather use them against your historical enemy. Take out the rich and powerful.
