I think the GOP is disintegrating before our very eyes.

No, what's disintegrating before our very eyes is the ability of anybody in politics to speak frankly (à la Trump) without the whole fucking world coming down on him.

The question in my mind is how many of those things did he say before he started running for President?

Doesn't make any difference. Attack his political position, but everything else is extrinsic crap indulged in by fools.

Actually there is a growing body of evidence that the competitive capitalist system tends to favour people who share gene sequences with psychopaths.
They tend to be successful in big business and find themselves more easily able to ignore, and have no concern for human suffering and other consequences of their actions. People with scruples tend to get de-selected and overlooked for the top jobs.

It's not just CEO jobs that predict high for psychopathology.

Mark Ciavarella sent 2,500 children to gaol unjustly. Most of them were sentenced without jury or lawyer on a hearing of less than 2 minutes. Yet he was personally unable to see his own culpability; nor see the damage he had done to their lives.

No, I believe you're referring to studies of uncompetitive socialist systems that favor people who actually are psychopaths.
