Life's but a walking shadow, a poor playerDalek Prime wrote:The Shakespearean fool often being the voice of reason.
That struts and frets his hour upon the stage
And then is heard no more. It is a tale
Told by an idiot, full of sound and fury
Signifying nothing.
Does this sound like somebody we know?

Bob. I'll freely grant that I'm not the sharpest chisel in the shed but at least I know what hemisphere of the planet my country can be found in. This means I'll always be one step ahead of you.
By the way, where's my tinfoil hat? I swore allegiance to the AEP weeks ago and mail delivery services are not that slow downunder. How do you expect me to spread the word around the globe without my official emblem of authority? Personally I reckon a propeller beanie would make for a more arresting public image for your good self, Bob, because your booming voice alone will be insufficient to make you stand out in the crowd. I looked for you at the public gathering yesterday amongst all the other drooling suits of the lunatic right but I couldn't quite make you out. Were you the bloke two to the left of Trump who couldn't stop picking his nose?

You must be thinking of my proposed AEP paramilitary organization, Société de Bonnet Rouge (Red Cap Society), inspired by the freedom fighters in the French Revolution. The logo will be circular with the words "Société de" at the top and "Bonnet Rouge" at the bottom, with the classic image of a Napoleonic hat in the middle, red on black. The first article of clothing for the logo will be the front of a stiff U.S. Army black fatigue cap. Would you like to order one?Obvious Leo wrote:By the way, where's my tinfoil hat? It may make for an arresting accessory to my ensemble for the spring races, Bob, although naturally the price might be a consideration. However I am a bold innovator when it comes to matters of personal dress and it wouldn't bother me at all to be seen wearing such blatantly Marxist headgear amongst all the toffee-nosed suits in top hats and tails.bobevenson wrote:You must be thinking of my proposed AEP paramilitary organization, Société de Bonnet Rouge (Red Cap Society), inspired by the freedom fighters in the French Revolution. Don't worry about the price, I'll see that you get one at cost. Marxist? No, you don't understand, Société de Bonnet Rouge, as the paramilitary arm of the AEP, stands for freedom, and if you're a member of the organization, you will have access to other accessories such as the standard-issue, logo-embossed black carbine rifle with fully automatic firing switch, where legal, for your personal use.Obvious Leo wrote:It may make for an arresting accessory to my ensemble for the spring races, Bob, although naturally the price might be a consideration. The scale of your generosity reduces me to tears, Bob. I'm an old bloke who's never actually physically held a firearm in his hands and the prospect of doing so is stirring up some long-forgotten memories in my loins. I can't wait to get out into the big wide world to display such a dramatic extension of my dick and start blowing all the shitheads who piss me off to kingdom come.

I'm sorry Leo, but that wouldn't be proper. In your own self-interest, we might have to restrict you to just the cap, OK?Obvious Leo wrote:I'm an old bloke who's never actually physically held a firearm in his hands and the prospect of doing so is stirring up some long-forgotten memories in my loins. You may be right, Bob. It could be that I'm letting my passion for the old John Wayne movies get the better of me. I'm sure that a replica of a simple Colt revolver with a little drop-down flag which says "Bang" should deliver all the sexual frisson that a man of my age could safely cope with.
