Eden - A guide to Space Travel

Post by o0oEdgarElemento0o »

Step 1. Love your fellow humans. Let go of hate.
Step 2. Remove clothes, drop the weapons, leave the shelters.
Step 3. Enter the wilds and survive without relying on tools / weapons / shelters.
Step 4. Begin to swim in the ocean and become proficient at survival in this environment.
Step 5. Leap out of the surface of the ocean for many years until you can fly.
Step 6. Skim the outer edges of our atmosphere for many years until you are used to space.
Step 7. Explore the adjacent planets / ect. for many years until you are proficient with space.
Step 8. Leave our galaxy and find new, wondrous places to behold.
Step 9. Never forget where you came from and never lose faith.

1-Love (and take care of) some folks; defend yourself against the rest (cuz they're bastids who'll eat you up and shit in your skull).
2-Basic, minimal, tools (robust, multi-use) give you a leg up on the world...use them: you need all the help you can muster up.
3-Be wild (self-direct), go where (and do what) you need to.
4-Climb, swim, walk, run, lift, carry, push, pull: use your body.
5-Get regular rest. Eat sumthin' decent once in a while.
6-Support, as you can and will, private concerns lookin' to get to space (cuz governments currently don't seem to give a shit beyond very expensive token activities).
7-Support, as you will and can, private concerns lookin' to mine near-Earth asteroids (there's gold [and silver and platinum and pitchblende and...] in them there space rocks!)
8-Satisfy yourself with exploiting the solar system cuz you're never, ever, gonna leave the confines of it.
9-Remember: your yesterday informs your today which, in turn, informs your tomorrow. Faith is fine, but hard work is better.
