Should Washington have less oversight in children's education?

I think it's more of a state matter to set standards for the children and would be a mistake for the US Supreme Court to dictate otherwise:

Ottawa has no say, educationally, in Canada. It's a provincial matter. Likewise, I personally think it should be a state matter in the US.

Federal, state and local governments should be totally out of education, abolishing their departments of education, and selling all schools from the elementary to university level.
