If we were as hairy as our human ancestors, would we still be clothed?

I think the answer would be yes (based in part on having the concept of clothing). What do you think?

You might as well ask if we would still wear clothes if we had scales like our ancestors.

I think the issue of hair is far more important than clothing. As hairless creatures we don't have to stop and pant like other animals. This affords early human hunters an evolutionary advantage.
