The move is likely an attempt to blunt any political fallout that could come if millions of people lose their ability to pay for health insurance, something Democrats would be sure to pin on Republicans.

There's no difference between Democrats and Republicans; they all worship at the altar of the Church of Satan. Regarding health care, only AEP theory provides a viable solution: every American, rich or poor, should receive an annual stipend from the government credited to his health care account. People should decide what doctors and hospitals to use and whether they want health insurance or not. All medical expenses are paid through this government account up to its balance. Any other approach to medical care taken by the government is improper.
