Individual human beings are now owned by the for-profit privatized prison industrial complex.
In the past human beings were owned by individual privatized farmers.
We haven't moved forward. Greed still rules. Profit over people.
Even now in the American for-profit privatized prison industrial complex.

If all American prisoners lived in one state, that state would be the 35th largest in population...out of 50.
