Stephen Fry examins the sea or should I say C

Is there a God? If so, what is She like?

Stephen Fry examins the sea or should I say C

Just wondered what people might think about this, it's an argument as to why the Church has not been a force for good.

It's a little overblown, I personally think all the charity work it has done has to be taken into account but do watch, and do make up your own mind...

It asks the question whether Stephen Fry is evil, it also asks a more important question is there a reason to justify such bigotry in terms of Jesus's words. And even more importantly it says something very important about protecting life.

I think it begs the question, I think though that question is what would Jesus do?

Fry;" Catholic Church not a force for Good"

No-brainer.

Being gay is not evil. Homosexuality has been persecuted by the Catholic Church since its inception; whilst allowing pedophilia to be practiced by its priests.

The RCC role in 'charity' is limited and conditional. Compared to NGOs working in the third world the RCC spends its members money in the least efficient way, and when it spends it comes with religious conditions imposed.
It preaches against condoms in AIDS afflicted areas; refuses to help those connected with sex workers; has a history of burying illegitimate children, or selling them to foreign parents.

Evil works best by concealment. The RCC has made concealment of its evil a primary skill.

Fry is A !.

We all know that the Church has become or always has been a homophobic and misogynous religion that does not seem to mind having half the population as second class citizens. Discrimination without a just cause seems to come easy to the church.

Most recognize how unjust this is.

None are coming up with a real way to fight the church.

Even governments with dead bodies do not seem to be able to bring the church to justice.

They and we all give religions more respect than what they deserve.

How then can we discredit the church even more than it is so that we might find some justice?

They cannot be much worse and I wonder how Christians can just keep forgiving the church for it's sins?
