Choose your rebellions better. This is idiotic and without use or consequence. Stupid conspiracy theories are designed to keep the flaccid minded off the important issues.Pluto wrote:Yes I think he's dead, don't you?
PROVE IT!
Yes, it would have probably been easier to kill a president, than to stage a moon landing. One would think so. But then what do we know, next to nothing I think.
No, his death was faked.
You spoke of the deluded, Americans, it has been said, are the most delusional people on earth, for they are closer to the source, than others.
No, I talked about deluded Pluto.
The source being the home of perception management. Here in Europe I can watch CNN and then go outside and the program has stopped, in the US this is not so, the program(s) continue, intensify, when you leave the house. A mediated biosphere surrounds everything you do.
How long have you lived in the USA?
But of course, Europe is the same, this is a global problem after all. We think we know, but for the most part we don't. Our role is to toil, follow orders, and be pacified in delusions. It has to end.

TTIP; TTP; lack of representation in democracy; Ferguson and police policy; Being Israel's dog; Military/Industrial complex; idiotic war on drugs; prison population; environmental change; pollution; population; resources; food adulteration; Religious dogma; Faith being valorised over knowledge, loss of enlightenment values.... Re: Mirror on the Moon
You are probably to young to remember but the Cold War was definitely a war and the Soviets would have wasted no time in denouncing America and wished to run the world not hold to a status quo, during that time we came very close to nuclear war a couple of times to my knowledge and landing on the moon was not a prevailing norm and it would not have been out of whack to say that the Americans faked it. Personally I cannot understand how the moon-landing deniers ignore the rocks brought back as the quantities far outweigh what could be collected upon the Earth.Pluto wrote:I know what you mean with the Russians, but then again, maybe our idea of Russia as opposition is not so accurate. Playing games of did or didn't go at that level would be a messing with the reality of the existing global order, and they wouldn't want that. Perhaps they were fooled too. Yet imagine the calamity of Russia openly stating 'no you did not!' That kind of interaction would be unthinkable at the public level. And of course, when you say something which appears so out of whack to the prevailing norm, one's position immediately becomes untenable, by design.

No, I see what you mean. Those are important. Though I see it as all connected.Hobbes' Choice wrote:TTIP; TTP; lack of representation in democracy; Ferguson and police policy; Being Israel's dog; Military/Industrial complex; idiotic war on drugs; prison population; environmental change; pollution; population; resources; food adulteration; Religious dogma; Faith being valorised over knowledge, loss of enlightenment values.... I don't see how you are going to address any important issue with this ridiculous aim of trying to disprove the Moon Landings, when there is nothing to be gained from it.Pluto wrote:No, I see what you mean. Re: Mirror on the Moon
I started the thread to be persuaded by others that we didn't go to the moon. That hasn't happened, so to me that's interesting, it shows that believers cannot put up clear evidence that we did go. This can be done with a post on a social internet platform. But those issues you mention cannot be dealt with (in any meaningful way) on a site like this.
Re: Mirror on the Moon
Why would you think this? It takes a peculiar type of fringe mentality to say that man didn't land on the moon. As I said in my original post the evidence is clear that man went to the moon. The overwhelming majority of empirical and mathematical evidence points to the fact that man went to the moon. This evidence dwarfs any other counter factual evidence. The empirical evidence in this regard is as clear as anyone is ever going to get in this world,Pluto wrote:I started the thread to be persuaded by others that we didn't go to the moon. I agree actually. People who are like "government this" "government that" dont realize that the government is just of a bad world. And the bad world is just a product of human DNA. Focus should be on human DNA, human culture itself, humans are the problem.Pluto wrote:And what are the important issues?Stupid conspiracy theories are designed to keep the flaccid minded off the important issues.
Re: Mirror on the Moon
The term 'conspiracy theory' is not helpful, to you it is, the one who uses it to bang heads with. It presupposes to much, and indeed is designed to do so, it stops thinking. From now, to be more precise in our language, not to use over-loaded terms, can we use in its place 'staged event'.Stupid conspiracy theories are designed to keep the flaccid minded off the important issues.
Staged events are part of the fabric of social reality, they are the important issue, for they are structural and historical constants. Which lead to great changes in society.
Keeping minds off important issues is being done effortlessly daily by the corporate mass media.

If you're talking about secret societies same deal. The common man is no better. Humans are the problem.Pluto wrote:

Re: Mirror on the Moon
The term 'fringe mentality' is too loaded to use in any meaningful way. Again like the term 'conspiracy theory' it comes with a built in position and attack. What does it mean, a person who does not think like everyone else?Ginkgo wrote:Why would you think this? It takes a peculiar type of fringe mentality to say that man didn't land on the moon. Re: Mirror on the Moon
There is something good about distance in that I was too young not to be open to the brainwashing of that time. If I'd been around for the moon landings and (maybe especially) living in the land of the free, maybe I would be sure we went. What we know are fairy tales and pantomimes. Those who witnessed it first hand don't even know what happened. It's just a cacophony of voices until one or two are chosen for being politically expedient. Of course we have to try, but I'm saying that the data which comes back is a seperate system from the one it was trying to describe.Arising_uk wrote:You are probably to young to remember but the Cold War was definitely a war and the Soviets would have wasted no time in denouncing America and wished to run the world not hold to a status quo, during that time we came very close to nuclear war a couple of times to my knowledge and landing on the moon was not a prevailing norm and it would not have been out of whack to say that the Americans faked it.
