Mirror on the Moon

Right, because they have an inkling, and are not dumb. Of course, your creative input in this, cannot go unmentioned.

Are you so sure?Pluto wrote:Right, because they have an inkling, and are not dumb.

You know in your hearts that there is a possibility, however slight, that they faked it, right?Pluto wrote:turn sound down first .../quote]Er? Has it crossed your mind that if this was a cock-up they'd just have reshot the scene?
Well that is going to let me out of that attempt, because I don't believe that humanity didn't go to the Moon. I don't think, in any way that, the Moon landings were faked. So that strategy will fail.

FYI, I'm not following you around, it's just that you spread so much BS on this forum that you are often the last poster I see. So I "reply in kind" to your posts.GreatandWiseTrixie wrote: anal retentive is, and so is slut shaming, and all the other annoying things you do to harass me. I don't believe humanity went to the moon, is better, no?I don't believe that humanity didn't go to the Moon
Re: Mirror on the Moon
I prefer the double negative, it tends to make people think about what I've said, in their attempts to figure it out.Pluto wrote:I don't believe humanity went to the moon, is better, no?I don't believe that humanity didn't go to the Moon

Re: Mirror on the Moon
It's an old idea and was done best in the film Capricorn One. I think there is a slim possibility that they went but didn't land and no possibility that many have not been around the moon but upon the whole I think they went and landed as as has been pointed-out the Soviets would have kicked-up a huge hue and cry and I find it strange that they wold have been stupid enough not to make the film flawless if they were going to fake such a moments event. I also think the rocks do it for me.Pluto wrote:AUK, I hadn't, and it's good thinking from you here. Re: Mirror on the Moon
I know what you mean with the Russians, but then again, maybe our idea of Russia as opposition is not so accurate. Playing games of did or didn't go at that level would be a messing with the reality of the existing global order, and they wouldn't want that. Perhaps they were fooled too. Yet imagine the calamity of Russia openly stating 'no you did not!' That kind of interaction would be unthinkable at the public level. And of course, when you say something which appears so out of whack to the prevailing norm, one's position immediately becomes untenable, by design.
Re: Mirror on the Moon
The film Capricorn One, is interesting, as it's film culture communicating to an audience who may entertain ideas not of the norm. A set has been built, the astronauts act as if they are on mars, etc. When you have, within a society, certain ideas floating and building momentum, sometimes a release pressure gauge is required. To put out the fire, to allow the flood gates to be opened and to the let the water flow. To remove the built-up pressure. The act of releasing pressure through an artwork, like film, moving pictures, continues as a strategy of defence, of attack, like always, like today.

So she's inferring from a non existent video, that the people in it were not where they say they were?thedoc wrote:Hobbes' Choice wrote: Why are you banging on about "throwing hammers"?
Because she saw a video about the last act on the Moon, an Astronaut throwing a hammer, but the camera was too far away to see anything clearly. Now she thinks that this bad video somehow proves the Moon landing hoax theory.

Do you believe that Kennedy was assassinated?
Re: Mirror on the Moon
You know I am deluded, how so?
I know he was killed by someone and believe that the official narrative of who killed him and why is far from clear.

Why do you think he's dead?Pluto wrote:You know I am deluded, how so?

It would be really easy to have faked that compared to the Moon Landings.
Re: Mirror on the Moon
Yes I think he's dead, don't you?
Yes, it would have probably been easier to kill a president, than to stage a moon landing. One would think so. But then what do we know, next to nothing I think.
You spoke of the deluded, Americans, it has been said, are the most delusional people on earth, for they are closer to the source, than others. The source being the home of perception management. Here in Europe I can watch CNN and then go outside and the program has stopped, in the US this is not so, the program(s) continue, intensify, when you leave the house. A mediated biosphere surrounds everything you do. But of course, Europe is the same, this is a global problem after all. We think we know, but for the most part we don't. Our role is to toil, follow orders, and be pacified in delusions. It has to end.
