Who is the King of the U.S.A.?
Who is the King of the U.S.A.?
Oh say can you see, --- that you are an oligarchy?

I assume here that most Americans are bright enough to know that they live in an oligarchy and not a democracy.
Do you believe that redistribution of wealth from the top to the bottom of the U.S. socio economic demographic pyramid is a good idea or a bad idea?
Do you think the American oligarchy can be turned back into a real democracy where the poor are considered instead of ignored, if not abused?
Poverty is the worst form of Violence. Mahatma Gandhi
Do you think that we can persuade our owners to stop their violence against the poor?
Which of our oligarchs would you say is the King of the U.S.A.
Should the U.S. government find its balls and ask its King to stop abusing the poor?
Regards
DL

Yes the US is an oligarchy but the citizens want their oligarchy. The American Dream, like Law, is a clever trick.
The Law makes absurd things like slavery, animal abuse, and harmful chemcals legal. Then, they say "the law is good because it keeps you safe". "if you try hard, you can change the law." This is only a half truth to keep you from the real truth. Because it buys them time, in 50 years theyll be dead, which is by the time you finally manage to change the law.
This is like the american dream. They 1 percent sits at the top saying "you can have all of this if you just try hard." this too buys them time, because it will take you at least 50 years of try-harding to get all the wealth they promise, at which time theyll be dead.
Because of this, american citizens saw "the law" and "capatilism" are in their best interest.

I hear you.
In Canada, some years back, I tried to get a bad law changed and the courts wore me out after making any change unaffordable. I also heard of a case in Quebec where the courts hade delayed a case for 20 odd years and were waiting further for the plaintiff to die of old age.
That is in Canada and we are supposed to have a better system than yours.

I just like to see if there are any smart Americans now and again. Those are getting harder to find.
Your electorate are in the same boat as this senator puts your politicians into at the end of this clip.
They and you probably have the same look after reading anything that makes sense that this goof had on his face.

Kingship and oligarchy are not necessarily one and the same, although they can complement each other. In terms of analogy, The king is you Constitution. In equally analogous terms the oligarchy is SCOTUS who hand down legislation from the bench based on their interpretation of the the Constitution.
Perhaps it is worth keeping in mind that you are not foremost a democracy, you are a constitutional republic.

The U.S. has had many presidents, but only one king, Elvis Presley.
