Isn't everyone just a bit of a Troll, at least sometimes?

And I don't think it was a reference to anyone in particular, just Trolls in general.

I started a thread about trolls, most people are tough on them, and recommend to pity them at the same time.
But this "pity" they think of is a sort of deterrence, it is cold and merciless.

What would be the right sort of charity towards a troll ?

Pity is indeed a merciless term. Nintendo has a trait of releasing the heros as villians, and the villians as heros. At the end of Legend of Zelda OOT, Zelda (the hero) calls Ganon "a pitiable man." Pitiable man indeed, as Zelda and her kingdom was responsible for the genocide of his entire race. His race was cast out into the desert in the first place, Zelda made him the villian in the first place. She even wears the eye of Horus.

Mario is no different, Mario abused Donkey Kong and his son, Mario abuse Yoshi, Mario treats women like disposables, Mario kills children for money. They don't even try to hide it, they put it in plain sight. People are so stupid they don't even realize it. With the use of 1920's ragtime it's plain to see that the game is an insult to American culture, and how they always consider themselves the good guys no matter what horrible things they do.

There are quite a number of ideas comparable to the poem you have quoted:

A day without a smile (or a laugh) is a lost day.

A day without a kind word, etc.

My "partner" and me have developed a ritual of sharing kindness and hilarious quality time late at night.

Thanks dusz. I'm as much against trolls as you are. Charity would be ignoring them.

I'm a troll because I mentioned videogames? Or you just felt like ignoring me, assumed it wasn't worth your time to read or comment on because it had the word Mario in it?

You know how we feel about blanket statements, and assumptions. They make an ass of u and me. Blanket statements saying all trolls are bad. Or all x is y. Forming allegiances against imaginary entities. Child's make believe.

With this poem in mind. Did you rescue your dog yet?

Not yet. In the meantime, I go to my son's house and get Charlie and take him to the dog park and then to my home. Otherwise, he is alone all day, which I don't like because the house might catch fire.

As you can see, Charlie waits in the window watching for me to drive up.

I read your posts. But, I don't understand most of them. Who is Mario?
