It's a no brainer, of course, the OP is just wading in the serenity, whatever that is for them, that surpasses all other places they have been. But if some sore, feel sorry for themselves kind of child, would instead of sensing these simple truths, rather abuse the OP because he's got a chip on his shoulder, that he tries to shove down peoples throats, so as to feel good about himself, because that's all that really matters to him, his self; so be it.

I believe an intelligent individual instead would just list his utopia, wherever that may be. With some sort of description, of course, of some sort of poetic license, possibly. Hell pictures would be nice. I have some nice ones of California, Oregon, Washington, Nevada, Utah, Arizona, Wyoming, Colorado, New Mexico, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, Missouri, Louisiana, Wisconsin, Illinois, Kentucky, Tennessee, Mississippi, Indiana, Alabama, Florida, Ohio, Georgia, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Virginia, Maryland, District of Columbia, Alaska, Hawaii, Guam, Midway Island, Diego Garcia (B.I.O.T., (British Indian Ocean Territory, (Chagos Archipelago))), Japan, Singapore, Thailand, Korea, Philippines, Australia, Kenya, and Somalia, that I took with my 35mm. So that we could all share these great places with one another. Yes that would be the proper thing to do if one be intelligent, that is because as every intelligent person knows, art is in fact subjective, not only, the sometimes ancient architecture, but of course my favorite, the natural land, vegetation and wildlife, such that when anyone speaks of the "best," they are always speaking of what's best for them. (the very definition of subjective for those unaware).

While I've lived in a tropical paradise, I actually prefer a Latitude/longitude with four distinct seasons, because I grew up with it, and so I love them all equally. But then that's how I see the entire world, with all it's differences, and especially all indigenous peoples, I could give a fuck about the conquerors, as they're quite insane, and so I make an exception for them, if they only understood, the poor sods. Of course these types are not exclusive to any continent, country, or culture. Unfortunately they're salt and peppered throughout all of mankind, it's unfortunate they exist at all, but the sick should be looked after, so what can one do? They should never lead, but sometimes they still do, just look around!

But I digress. Or maybe not.

Or in other words, I've never dumped on anyone for expressing their love of something, because fortunately I do understand that; indeed! Music is only one of them. I'm sure Doc will agree, sitting at his Steinway Grand. ;)

It's a Baldwin, just as good, and yes I agree but if someone likes where they are they should accept the whole cloth, not just cherry pick the best and ignore the rest.

Right now we have snow and cold weather, and it's a pain in the ass getting up and down the driveway, but the woods are beautiful, with the snow covered ground and the dark trees in contrast. It makes the world seem black and white, even though I know that is not the case, a Cardinal makes that point for me.

Please overlook that English is not his first language, but as least he sings the whole song.

Actually I was just referring to music, but I obviously agree. Hey you're starting to sound like a poet. ;)

Same here! I'm in the city yet still in the woods, due to hilly terrain, that really can't be built upon. There can be beauty everywhere if only one takes the time to look.

Thanks, that sounded great! Neither languages, dialects nor accents bother me at all, quite the contrary!

More fertile ground for literature is elsewhere in America. Our greatest writers:

Edgar Allan Poe - Maryland/Pennsylvania/Virginia/New York

Mark Twain - Missouri/Connecticut.

The true essence of America lies far from California. Best weather though? I'll give you that.
