Also, your idea about extinction is misguided. Self-awareness helps with the Holy Experiments, but the problem is flawed Human DNA. It would be better if we converted the humans to evolved Unicorns.

Bad and good are subjective, but I can't think of a single hypothetical species that would look favorably upon the human race. Well, except humans themselves, that is.

Why unicorns? Less violent, probably more open minded too. Plus, the Unicorn species has some other sharp and beneficial points...

I won't bother read this thread through, just my 25 cents, the responsibility is on the guys, at least in this northwestern part of the world - Say stop when your woman starts shouting for a third one. No reason to have more than two kids. If the guys that really goes for producing kids stops at 2, I cannot see that there will be any increases...

I'm fairly sure unicorns were vegetarian and did not infight themselves, though there is little research available on the matter.

As for aliens looking upon us in favor, I doubt it. Doesn't seem like they are making an active effort to promote our well-being at all. If what you are saying is true, they might look at humanity as a bad memory of a past self they are trying to forget.
