Should John Boehner be jailed?
I see Boehner may shut down the US gov't in response to Obama. I know that union leaders can be jailed for striking. Why not the same for Boehner?
As part of the OP, the Republicans swept the elections recently in key spots, in part to have a more responsive Congress. It sure sounds that it hasn't worked out that way.
What say you to this?

That's not how I see it.
Twenty-plus Republicans are to be seated in the Senate come January.
These soon-to-be-seated Republicans ran campaigns that offered nuthin' but opposition to Mr. Obama and his promoted policies and legislation.
At the very least: these folks were hired to maintain gridlock for another two years (till the presidential election).
At the very most: these folks were hired to actively blunt the Democrats by way of repealing (or defunding) the ACA, doing a work-around on any executive action/orders, and generally do the opposite of what Democrats do or will do.
Compromise, accommodation, and 'bi-partisan cooperation' aren't in the mix, aren't expected, and would result in Republican suicide if attempted.

Simply: there's nuthin' in the law that calls for the arrest of any congressman who looks to stymie the opposition and uses the operations of the government to do so.

"Then there ought to be such a law."
Since the folks who would be stymied by such a law are the very ones who have to craft and pass it: don't hold your breath.

if Obama were to kill Satan bare handed, the republicans would condemn him for violating Satan's rights, and accuse him of plotting to kill all supernatural beings

Re: Should John Boehner be jailed?
On second thought, I retract that request for evidence.
Why?
Cuz your statement about Romney aint' got nuthin' to do with the thread, and, I don't give a shit (I'm not a Romney [or republican] supporter).
If you got a gear to grind about Romney or republicans, then have at it.
Me: not playin'.

Obama should be impeached and sent to Libya.

I don't give a crap about US politicians, which is what I assume he is. I'm sure you have no knowledge or interest in politicians here. Yank arrogance knows no bounds.Philosophy Explorer wrote:As HH used to tell me, Google it.vegetariantaxidermy wrote:Who the fuck is John Boehner?
