Should you think about your duty, or about the consequences of your actions? Or should you concentrate on becoming a good person?

Philosophers supporting J.S. Mill's Utilitarianism

Post by denniscallanan »

I have been doing a lot of research recently into J.S Mill and his view on Utilitarianism. I noticed that a lot of Philosophers argue against his ideology of moral ethics and I'm curious to know whether any famous philosophers have argued strongly in support of Mill's Utilitarianism. I haven't come across any myself. It's nice to read other people's opinions, no matter how pointless they may seem to the general population.
