Can the theory of evolution explain everything?

How does science work? And what's all this about quantum mechanics?

Can the theory of evolution explain everything?

Post by Philosophy Explorer »

Does the theory have any shortcomings. Are there certain things it fails to explain? Are there any competing theories that do a better job of explaining?

What say you to this?

Everything, no. The evolution of species, yes.
If by 'shortcomings' you mean, are there bits of data as yet unprocessed, then, yes. If you mean, are there gaps that only a god can fill, then, no. There are no competing theories of any kind.

evolution can explain consciouness in the respect that everything changes through time .exept consciousness cos its independent of the event.consciousness dosnt evolve .forms and things change and move .consciousness dont change its always the exact same thing brains evolve to source .
