Throw yourself at the ground and miss, My aim is off just a bit, got the bruises to prove it.
I'd refrain from challenging the laws of gravity why not just go for walking on water at least you wont die if your faith proves unable to overcome intelligent falling.
That assumes you can swim, some Pastor claimed he was going to do that in the US and when his flock had gathered he proceeded to walk out into the river confident his faith would bear him up, he drowned, simultaneously teaching a valuable lesson about faith and hubris, and earning him a Darwin award (Awards given out to people who are better off not being in the gene pool).
and earning him a Darwin award (Awards given out to people who are better off not being in the gene pool).
I especially liked the guy that jammed a 10 thousand Kilo jato rocket thruster in back and of his pontiac.
The car actualy left ground and ended up impacted on side of a mesa.
as slim pickns in Dr strangelove said 'Waaaahhhoooooooooo'

What a way to go out though, stupid and spectacular.

In 1914-18 literally millions threw their lives away for empire and queen. And the aristocracy watched and muttered
that more men are needed for the grinder.
They were 'nothing' to those that sent them to die.
Where is King George V leading the infantry over the top just before a German bullet takes off the top of his empty head.

Baaaaaaaaaa
" the epitome of stupid"
The bulk of the aristocracy were pretty much exterminated in that war, just go look at the public school memorials. You forget that many were at the front leading the way with a revolver and stick.
It seems so simple: to be in the moment without clinging to thought. Yet it is so difficult since without thought, "I" am dead, so the "I" has to propagate itself through thought till physical death brings an end to this.
The narration, the unrestrained activity of the intellectual function that each of us has, is so pervasive and enticing that we connect "I" to that.
We connect the sense of self to that clatter.
Which is tempting but incorrect in a completely healthy individual.
Which actually supports, The Argument That Prayer, True Prayer, Does Not Involve Any Words, Just a Continued Feeling of, I am Here; The Practice of Self-Consciousness
True Prayer; Wordless acceptance of the momentary reality.
Interesting and that's another way of stating what I said. I wish humanity would stop identifying with this chatter (which consists of fanatical ideologies, dogmas, -isms, beliefs and superstitious beliefs) and be in the moment.
