And no to get a new IP you can do one of several things go into windows and mask your ip via the advanced internet connection options, change your ISP, use a proxy, or use Tor, each of which will make your IP undetectable, although most proxies are banned on sites, and Tor is often blocked but meh you get the idea.

You can of course use a VPN which is completely untraceable and will let you use whatever ISP mask you chose, but they generally have to be paid for although not always.

Don't ask me how I know this, because if I tell you I'd have to kill you...

When I said I dislike trolls I meant it, and am well aware the term comes from trawling a fishing technique used to catch huge amounts of fish at once.

I have a dynamic IP but if a company places a request to an ISP they can block you from ever being able to connect to their game or they can just spike your software so that it never is able to connect, either way your gone, and even Chuck Norris or some ninja specialist aint getting back on line.

I played the game for 6 years, and because I had the nerve to question why they accepted bribes to let players off bans, they just kicked me forever. Just goes to show End User License Agreements are nothing like actual law, but if you break them for any reason you are strung up.

I mean I could sue them for breach of their own EULA, but what would be the point, I signed on the dotted line, they own my soul.

Incidentally you calling me young is rather amusing, I am 42.

If you don't have direct X 1 million either it becomes problematic when running many benchmark games. That said I have considered buying a Mac, but it would have to support all the games I play regularly and I am not sure it would...

Yes, I know he and you used to like going at it. Believe it or not I have/do read threads that I've no interest in participating in, and used to observe you two. I tend to not like arguing about religious matters, as I know that no one can know, except of course you, so you say! I also miss John. He was always the voice of calm impartial reason, as far as I was aware, though he seems to pop in from time to time. Maybe it's just the threads I'm interested in.
