Understanding Forum participants

My experience from participating on Philosophy Forums over the last sixteen years makes it apparent that people who participate do so for one of two reasons. By far the majority do so with no thought of collaborating with other participates to advance philosophical knowledge, nor do they appear to have any interest and mental ability to do so. These participates identify themselves with Philosophy attempting to appear intelligent to enhance their self-esteem. Having an intelligent dialogue with these participates is impossible for they feel threatened by any idea different from their own. This creates an extremely challenging environment for the very few participates, usually no more that one or two, whose interest is creating new ideas to advance philosophical knowledge.

The advancement of philosophical knowledge demands the creation of new different ideas that can be supported by a logical argument. This is a difficult mental process that can be made easier if on a Philosophy Forum there is collaboration between those with the same interest, but the process is easily disrupted and terminated by those on the forum whose only interest is to discredit any ideas different from their own.

Creating original ideas that advance philosophical knowledge depends on participates understanding the mental process of systematic reasoning.

I will stop and wait for replies that reveal which participants have an interest in collaborating and who feel threatened.

R2D2 some are not worth helping, as they have too low cognitive abilites, thus they will never comprehend the help they are recieveing thus never improve, that is the sad and brutal reality of life, that many cozy chatters refuses to deal with.
In the real world such people would get fired for incompetence, and can only maintain the lowest of jobs, not advancing to specialists in big buisness.

The reason why I'm so cold and cynical in your R2D2 eyes, is that I've seen too many totally incompetent people only able to preform parrotspeeches, and cost the buisness millions.
It's almost impossible to imagine how mentally ill a CEO can become, who has decades of experience, and only promote "yes men" and fire all the skilled and competent people, that's when I predicted it all would go to Hell.
But you, only only judge things emotionally, not intellectually, maybe you will have your own buisness you will understand my ways.

I feel threatened by kelly I must admit, not because he wants to further philosophy but he wants people to be able to reason and try to work together, this is of course not how social organisations work. I vote he be burned as a witch.

Did you know for example in business sector the highest proportion of psychopaths can be found in middle and upper management, there is it seems some benefit to being callous, uncaring, and unable to empathise with others, with a tendency to conflate and obfuscate whilst also superficially charming. Certainly explains the banking crisis.
