What is your moral compass?

For all things philosophical.

P.e.,

We -- you and me -- have different perspectives.

Best, I think, to leave it at that.

yes, of course i leave you to it as you please, but please tell me if you disagree on one of the following three;

1. You are perceiving something, and it is always now.

2. One should treat others as one would like others to treat oneself. / One should not treat others in ways that one does not want to be treated.

3. "And then one day, a magic day, he passed my way, and while we spoke, of many things, fools and kings, this he said to me;

The greatest thing you'll ever learn, is just to love, and be loved in return"

HA!
tel me, did you really think i did not expect that ;)?
and perhaps ask yourself, why you enjoy it the way you do, asking me not to reply anymore??
are you a quirk, or do you just want to be one..?

Dont live your life for anyone else, live it for yourself.
Dont try to be more, but dont be less.

if u wana find something to complain about it, you will find something, may it only be you do not find something.
if u wana find something to appreciate, you will find something too, it is just harder for the conscious.

if you do not wish to talk, do not reply yourself.

WRONG!, You should treat others as they want to be treated, not as you want to be treated. Others may have different needs and desires, and not everyone wants or feels the same way. It's the meddling busybody who thinks everyone is the same and wants the same thing, it's a way of making themselves fit in with the rest of humanity, when really they are on the outside looking in. The same thing happens with perverts who try to justify their perversion by claiming that everyone else is the same as they are. Sticking your nose in where it doesn't belong is just another perversion or sickness that afflicts some people who justify it by claiming to be doing good for others.

Ok, unenlightened one ;), let us debate, listen to my words, and disagree until you cannot disagree with yourself anymore..
i will read yours too, and will do the same.

you are nor wrong nor left nor right or in between, in my opinion, like we all only hold our opinion and i nor like or dislike you, as the person you are and the better half you can be of yourself. You disliking me, because of what my words say to your brain, is not my problem, but only you make it your problem.

I like, no wait, leme rephrase that, i LOVE people like you, telling others they are WRONG WRONG WRONG!!
BUT YOU ARE RIGHT?!?
question and answers, they talk and listen dont they not? but what do those know, who shout the truth?

people like YOU even put my patience to the test. people like YOU are whats wrong with your society, always they know it all, and yes you know NOTHING yet you are scared to doubt those things you hold yourself to be true.
maybe there is a 'God', maybe not, but its scary when you think about both possibilities, and let me guess, you KNOW there cannot be a God, because this world is not as you would like to see it, or as you would make it if you were God? no no no, try again.

You are an ignorant fanatic and extremist, which is no good combination! always wanting to complain about others, because you are unhappy with yourself.

The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves, but wiser people so full of doubts.

hey btw you wrote; I just try to be honest, but will avoid hurting others.
maybe start with being honest to yourself? dont do it because i tell you to, do it because you cannot deny its importance :)
See what you find, and good luck with it!

Sometimes I think Bender from Futurama's morale code is inviting especially vis a vis the treatment of humans, particularly when reading threads about moral compass that devolve into a compassless bitch slap event. On has to admit the irony is kinda ironic. ;)

"Kill all humans."

Bender Bending Rodrigues.

It certainly succinct and really punchy, the robbing them first is of course optional.

not just online... i dont mind people disagreeing with me, i just dont like the cold heart-ed direction of society.. :)
id rather point the finger at myself, and hope others will do the same..

Impenitent and Blaggerd, i do agree.. but i can let it be, and hope those who i am/was in discussion with can too, for i rather find others and myself focusing on the better things in life.
they both exist, the better and worse, and you can stare just in one direction, but i like to look around, too to see the less good, but too for the better.
And i do believe, from all my heart, my input in this discussion will help for the better, just like i do more than just sit around and think how it should be done, i know i do more than just the good of the thinking.
Go out, and be what you wanna be, be who you wanna be, or simply put

To be or not to be? < the question
I think therefore i am. + the wisdom
--------------------------
To think or not to think ? < it is the answer, if you understand what i mean. it is the balance, between mind and body, it is the soul, what ever it may be.

and bender is a metaphor.. he is the evolved human if we do not change our course very fast for the better.. we will kill our own specie and take nature down along with us..

A human isnt stupid, humanity is stupid. Doh.

Well admitting you are stupid is no bad thing, seeing humanity as it is, is also no bad thing. That said though I still think we should kill all humans, it was a failed experiment. ;) :P

and who is to blame for the experiment.. ;)?

anyway, the fool is no more the fool he used to be, once he realizes the fool he was..
like you cannot be ignorant of your ignorance and know youre being ignorant..

i hope many will realize this, in many ways, and do more than just the realizing of it.

there must be a bit of tension and confusion, and its not a bad thing, before there is some release and relief..
accepting all the unknown of life, is scary and not an easy thing, and if you disagree with me on that, i say you are blessed, like we all are ;)

Everyone's moral compass is established by our institutions, for good or bad, but mostly bad, since they prevent God's will from reaching our minds: "For God hath put in their hearts to fulfil his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled." -Revelation 17:17
