Under certain circumstances eating meat can be a sin.

If your doing it hurts animals and hurts your own body (a gift from God).

And if you have a choice of eating something less unhealthy and with less detrimental effects to the fellow creatures.

I continue to try to be a vegatarian.

One because I think it is a more productive way of being that can help induce clearer consciousness and possibly clearer philosophical thought.

Two because, in America, we have what is called factory farms - which are very inhumane to the beef, pork and fowl that are unfortuneate enough to be trapped inside of these hellholes...

I am like a zombie though...every so often I need beef, pork, or fowl...least I tell myself that.

...and I fall off the wagon...

Fish is meat! Vegetarians are idiots since humans were designed to eat meat through eons of evolution. Vegetarians are just left-wing, liberal environmentalists against free-market capitalism, pure and simple.

I would say that at the very least, your intentions and efforts are noble. I've tried in the past, but once I had kids it became exusting on my pocket and my will.

Okay. I'm sorry. I thought fish was fish.

I'm not exactly a vegetarian

I'm sorry I brought-up left-wing, liberal environmentalists.

And I didn't mean to bring-up ALL those points against free-market capitalism.

You are quite perceptive pure and simple.

Thank you for staying on-topic.

...oh yeah. I am drafting my paper to Wikipedia right now to straighten them out!

They; Wikipedia; the collective source of human information, has this STUPID idea that fish are actually cold-blooded gill-bearing aquatic craniate animals that lack limbs with digits.

The collective idiot that IS mankind still thinks fish excludes amphibians, reptiles, birds and mammals.

THANK YOU for setting the world straight!
ONCE & FOR ALL!!!!

YOU, my friend, ARE A GENIUS, pure and simple.

Ahhhh yes!

Thank you.

Perhaps Temple Grandin's philosophy is the best when addressing this subject.

"I think using animals for food is an ethical thing to do, but we've got to do it right. We've got to give those animals a decent life, and we've got to give them a painless death. We owe the animal respect."
Temple Grandin

I appreciate your civil and thoughful approach to the food we put into our bodies.

...I still feel bad when I eat meat now...and ALL the sins of my past in refrence to this subject.

Thank you for adding to this thread and introducing me to the beautiful, Temple Grandin.

I'll take your word for it and given your thoughts I'd concur that it must be difficult.
