Problem of evil
Re: Problem of evil
Yeah, I see this is going nowhere. But I wonder one thing and I hope you answer this question.HexHammer wrote:Everything can be used as good or evil, it's up to humans to goven it, not God.
Stop being so whiney.
What is the purpose of god, according to you?
So you're saying a) Fuck school. Fuck education. Fuck everything. Except god, ofc. Worship and obey god cause nothing else is necessary in life? The problem of evil is institutional; there is no other basis for it. Again, I refer you to Revelation 17:17, "For God hath put in their hearts to fulfil his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled." It is our institutions that prevent God's will from reaching our brains.
c) God knows institutions are evil... yet he does nothing to prevent them from spreading evil? Does that mean our human institutions are more powerful than god?
We can't even be sure which god is the right one (if any) cause all religions and their denominations have their own understandings and supernatural claims, none proven by evidence and all god claims so far have been proven to be unproven and logically unsound.

Education is the biggest scam on Earth; well, not as big as religion and patriotism, but, you know, it's right up there.3Sum wrote:So you're saying: Fuck school. Fuck education.

Yeah because if you teach people stuff, and ultimately how to learn to think for themselves in university, who knows where it might lead. People might be informed, be able to decide for themselves what is right or wrong about stuff and worse question authority!bobevenson wrote:Education is the biggest scam on Earth; well, not as big as religion and patriotism, but, you know, it's right up there.3Sum wrote:So you're saying: Fuck school. Seriously I have nothing against religion, but when people are going out of their way to make sure people are kept ignorant, and are not able to learn about the world you really do have to ask why? And I am afraid the reason is because knowledge is dangerous in the hands of the common man, if we give people information enough to make up their minds for themselves, we open up a can of worms that may well lead to an informed population not a herd of sheep, and that does not bode well for those who are obtuse and keep their lore close to their chest, or those who see the world in very clearly defined lines, in their field, ruminating on cud and little else.

And may I say whatever you wear Pirate or Ninja costume on the Sabbath and festival days, we are all one people under FSM.
Re: Problem of evil
He supposedly created us, and it's up to us to give us selves a purpose, only very stupid people needs to be told what purpose they have.3Sum wrote:Yeah, I see this is going nowhere.
