No i meant q .e.d the telly prog.its possible for that q .e.d to intrude into normal thought to the point of obsession.

Why not look up the phrase Quod Erat Demonstrandum?

I seem to remember a TV programme in the 1980s, but that was not on my mind, neither is the thrust of the programme relevant to the discussion.
