Are African-Americans Superior?
I have been stating for years that if African-Americans were a separate race - which I know they are not - that race would be superior to ALL OTHER RACES here on earth.
I know this is a broad, theoretical statement but there is a ton of real facts behind it.
In short, whenever African-Americans are given a level playing field they conquer ALL OTHER RACES on earth. Bar NONE.
African-Americans make-up a little over 10% of America's population.
America makes-up about 5% of the world's population.
That means that African-Americas - looked at as a separate race - would make-up one half of one percent of the world's population.
Look at African-American’s impact upon the world in the very short time since they were legally granted their freedom from slavery in 1865.
Whether it is sports, entertainment, philosophy or in ANY OTHER ASPECT of humanity where there is a level playing field, African-Americans out perform all other existing races on earth.

My thesis for this thread: African-Americans, if they were a separate race would be superior to all other races on earth.

I don't think there is anyone here at this forum that would disagree with my thesis but if you have any questions please express them.
Should Afro-Americans go to South Africa or to another African country and tell the people there what to do because they know better and are superior ?
Feeling superior is the first step on the slippery road to hell, it is the first of deadly sins (pride or conceitedness or arrogance, in French: l´orgueil).
African Americans only exist as a race because they where carried away from their homeland by white Europeans, so if your theory were true, the africans would have developed technology before the whites, and taken over the world. The fact they haven't doesn't make them inferior, it just shows they have a diferent more naturalistic outlook on existence.
Your thread implies that a race that is motivated in certain ways to do certain things makes them superior, this is not true, I have as much respect for south American Indians who can survive happily in the rain forest as I do for anyone. The fact these people are happy to stay close to nature, and not desire technology and wealth, does not make them lesser men in my eyes.
You should except people for what they are, and not try to impose your achievement markers onto the whole of humanity.
