Sorry but what are you talking about? "Sharks", "natural reaction which would hurt me"?duszek wrote:The idea of a graceful walk is a good one, but not possible in every circumstances.
If there is a shark attack taking place right now, I have to react somehow immediately.
I am going to try this:
I tell myself in my mind: Ein böser Fisch im Aquarium und wo ist mein Atem ? (an evil fish in the aquarium and where is my breathing ?)
So the fish will be a signal for a breathing exercise, instead of my natural reaction which would hurt me.
I could make a chart and put a point for each breathing exercise and see how many of them I have per day.

Sorry, I should have been more explicit.
If a bully is attacking me I should refrain from a natural reaction of expressing my disgust, anger, indignation etc.
The technique I am going to experiment with is that I try to use a negative signal (bullying) for doing something positive.
Pavlov´s dog was trained to think of food when the light went on.
I want to train myself to do a breathing exercise when bullying sets in.
I may look funny to the bully: he or she may think that I am close to a heart attack.
And leave me alone.
