I would say, George Zimmerman was armed.


I have carried a weapon. You know, when you have a weapon on you, you must have already made the mental decision that you would use that weapon.



Knowing that, George Zimmerman got out of his car to pursue Travon Martin.

Travon was on a sidewalk walking AWAY from George Zimmerman.

Aside from being black, Travon was not braking any laws.

George Zimmerman, knowing he was armed, confronted Travon.

he shot an unarmed kid who was not doing anything illegal after starting a confrontation that the police advised him to not start

and he can claim innocence because the only other person who was there was killed by him

what the zimmerman lovers do not realize is that if they are ever in florida, anyone can blow them away with impunity and use exactly the same defense zimmerman did

You did. You said "a few scratches?" How did Zimmerman's nose get broken?

I didn't follow this case closely so I do not know enough about the particulars to commit on anything but generalities. It seems to me that we have an unarmed person dead and another who admits to doing the killing. It just seems to me that there should be some sense of regret or remorse that we all should exhibit. I don't think killing should be glorified like it is a sport or something. Like this, "Oh yeah....who rules man! In your face!" type attitude. Where does that come from?

We have a child dead ....and the circumstances are blurry. Whether or not it was self defense shouldn't the punishment fit the crime? It seems to me we have gotten black and white bat shit crazy about justice. Really...Zimmerman should get the same punishment as if he were the likes of Mason, Bundy or Dahmer? Really? I mean comeone...I think if the punishment would have been less severe perhaps zimmerman would have been convicted? But if I were on a Jury...I would take the punishment into consideration. If I thought the punishment was out of line for the crime committed...then I would probably find the defendant not guilty...not because I wanted to...but because the punishment was hitting below the belt.

I know one of my friends who would send someone to their death for accidentally hitting a pedestrian with their car...even if they were not under the influence. Not that I am linking the two...but it just seems to me that people are not rational when it comes to justice. I think they confuse justice with vengeance.

Let the punishment fit the crime...even in cases of death i say.

it is an appropriate description

zimmerman was clearly a fat fuck as can be seen by his enormous girth - and backed up by his defense, which was that he was too fat and out of shape to use proportionate response to the alleged physical attack by martin

and he was clearly crazy (in the colloquial not medical sense) in that he drove around with a gun and demanded that random people going about their business explain their business to him
