I feel like a Blue frog... a little strange and a little new ....
But hope to get more active by the day!
Introductions I feel, are largely how one perceives oneself or how one would like to be perceived - not necessarily how one is perceived...
I see myself as a strong mind and unafraid of questioning my every step, every thought and every belief... trying to keep an open mind and not to be so strong that I forget to be vulnerable.
mindful breathing, mindful being and mindful living - as Buddha lived, is what I strive to be...

Buddhist Enlightenment is all about control, first and foremost individual self control, and a shutting out of the world in an attempt to preserve a harmony of the mind. Basically a religious cure for madness.

Cure for madness?
Buddha was the most practical thinker - he rejected all beliefs based on mere trust and loyalty, invited people to make the path as they walked.

Practical is a matter of what you are trying to achieve. Reason I said it is a cure for madness is because it retains a strong protection of the mind against what is deemed "bad influences", generally anything that is thought to be able to take it out of balance. In so doing Buddhism is a cure for maddening thoughts.
