Think of the most fucked-up unethical shit that seems to hinder us as a species. Whether it is political or just a raw, seemingly insurmountable ethical situations that we, as a common species, face on a daily basis.


Formulate that and then I think I have the answer to solve the evolutionary-type situations.



And I will give you the answer up-front:



The answer is Organized Labor.







As you may be aware, Organized Labor is my religion.


I think infusing elements of Organized Labor into our moments, make those moments, our reality, inherently better.



I know I have stated this thesis before in many other ways. Thought I'd try this.

Organized labor is alright in the private sector (let them compete in the non-union/right to work context), but I'm opposed to public employee unions. Public employee union bosses sleep with the politicians, e.g. Obama and Trumka, Seiu bosses.

To me, Organized Labor represents a recognized, legal relationship between labor and capital with the mutual recognition and respect for the integrity of associated material/objects.

I don't mean to appear difficult, Bill, but that doesn't answer any of my questions. What do you think the "recognized, legal relationship between labor and capital" should entail? Do you not think, as someone who is advocating a position, that you ought to be able to support it yourself, without recourse to wikipedia? If you describe something as your religion, are you not just saying that it is something that you believe in the absence of any evidence? It seems to me that you are dealing with very important issues, but that you are trivialising them.

Your questions are not only reasonable but essential for anyone who wishes to understand the profound fundamental, evolutionary importance of the concept of Organized Labor upon humanity.


When you ask, What do you think the "recognized, legal relationship between labor and capital" should entail? my answer is a bit zen-like; The recognized, legal relationship between labor, capital, and material/objects entails what it should. Legally, I LOVE and appreciate where Organized Labor is in the world. I accept the concepts and contracts of today's modern Organized Labor agreements where I find them. Personally, I do not have any misgivings about what Organized Labor should or should not entail. GREAT question.


As someone who is advocating a position that I support wikipedia is a tremendous fountain of knowledge in relation to history of Organized Labor, principles of Organized Labor, and important associated links related to the concepts & contracts of Organized Labor.





I describe Organized Labor as my personal religion. I am saying I believe in something with an avalanche of evidence.

I think that could be a powerful question if we were to be able to define power and wrongfully within the scope of that framework.


As I relate to the scope of the religion that I adhere to, I am unable to perceive in the context of rightfully & wrongfully.


I believe in the inherent good of Organized Labor.


To whatever degree Organized Labor exists within a moment that moment becomes inherently better.


If someone were to look at the presence or absence of Organized Labor within any moment that duality or tension between those two opposites would surpass or replace the concepts of rightfully or wrongfully. For me. You, I'm sure, are different.



If by power you mean influence then again, there could be a presence or absence of the influence of Organized Labor within any given moment.
