Bill Wiltrack wrote:I look forward to you understanding how these two concepts, one that our lives are constructed by universal and specific rules and yet our life is one big accident composed of lots of little ones.

Enjoy.

This apparently, will be a koan of sorts for the two of you.
Apparently you've missed that this is a philosophy site not a zen buddhist site and that you are far from being a zen buddhist monk.

So tell us how you, personally, have solved what we call a contradiction and you call a koan? That is if you are saying you hold both these concepts as true.

I solve it by saying that your latter concept is not necessarily true, i.e. it can be false in many cases. As such there is no contradiction. I also think your former concept has errors but I'll save them for another time.

I think it is great that each of us understands this thread in each of our own ability.

This is quite refreshing and telling.

What's not very refreshing but is telling is how you make statements and then don't back them up, instead you resort to your puerile clips to deflect your obvious incomprehension about your own thoughts, this tells me that you are just regurgitating someone else's, your gnus I guess.

Yet again you display your subconscious, not yet thought what any women or children might think about your little clips? Me I think you doth protest to much. Hear that knocking yet?

I really don't have any thoughts that I cling to.

I really don't have a teacher anymore. I really experiment now with what I have learned throughout my lifetime.

I feel GREAT.

I have done a LOT of protesting within my lifetime but I don't think I have much at all to protest now. Certainly not philosophy related.

They say the teacher can see the student but the student will never see the teacher. I see you clearly.

And yet you keep posting and re-posting them?

Ever going to reply as to how you have resolved your own 'koan' or contradiction, as has been pointed out to you.

Like a good little acolyte.
I feel GREAT.
Immaterial to me.

As is this, as you are here on a philosophy forum spouting your contradictions and appear to think that philosophically that is a great thing to do?
They say the teacher can see the student but the student will never see the teacher. I see you clearly.
Do you? Who's this "They"? I say that the teacher who tells you this is an arrogant fuck and I've been a teacher.

I see your avatar, I see your video clip and we both apparently agree that we see a drunk dancing inappropriately in a world of their own make believe.

I'm bored of your continual evasion when questioned about your billshit. I'm bored of how you avoid any questioning of your thoughts by your posting and reposting of puerile clips.

Its almost like you don't know you're on a philosophy forum. I think you should find a psychoanalytic forum as they'd adore you.
Boring?
Maybe, but I'll let others judge that and live with it.

Are they!

Facking 'ell! I've stated them clearly enough I'd have thought.

"real, underlying reasons" - What pseudo cod-psychological reasons are you cooking-up in those delusional 'brains' of yours to account for it then?
p.s.
LMFAO. Just followed your link back to reactiongifs! So this is how you get told what to show to express yourself.

I think you are being diverting. Justifiably so.

I'm seeing posts like yours as being boring now.

You submit your opinion and that is fine but your delivery is not fresh.

Your attempts at being offensive are just so shallow now...

Things will change.

Either you chose to drive the truck of change or you are run over by it.
