Hi
Hi PNF
I joined this forum as i like philosophy, i`m ALWAYS thinking, and questioning pretty much everything, i have alot of morals which can be a pain at times lol.
I hoped to perhaps make new friends, but mainly just to talk to fellow thinkers.
I called myself depressedthinker, for obvious reasons.
I also come from the UK.
Cheers
DT

Re: Hi
I'm highly hostile to depression. I'm not the opposite either, I'd rather say I'm adherent to the idea that the world is feeling (something to feel, embrace, touch, sense, experience) and life is a quest for solution, and there's no room for self-destructive thought in any parts of either, and I find most conditions under which people feel constant bliss to be self-destructive or destructive of others as well, such as ignorance or the worship of innocence.
I have only one moral, and that is that human beings have needs, and that I and everybody else should strive to satisfy those needs, however, I define my own criteria here, and I've developed a big complex system of thought that doesn't actually bring out any object in particular but instead computes the objects of human need.
I'm looking forward to fighting your depression.

Re: Hi
You should take this as a warning that something is wrong with you, because something is definitely wrong with Bill. He suffers acute word shortage, therefore he always speaks in images, and they rarely makes any sense, more like random throw up.Bill Wiltrack wrote:Depression? Moral hang-ups? - I like you already!

Re: Hi
Oversized bold letters and unfriendly and meaningless images. In other words: spam. You're spamming these threads and posts and I think it's a wonder nobody has banned you yet for it. It seems harmless, but you produce so much of it, and it really seriously annoys the hell crap out of me. Every thread you enter you kinda ruin for me when you pop up with text rendering it impossible to read anybody else's text for your use of size, bold and super-spacing in-between every sip of actual sentence you provide, and of course your use of disturbing meaningless images and animations.

Re: Hi
Let us put all that aside.
After all his first post was words only and quite welcoming.
Give the guy a break.

Re: Hi

Your honesty is refreshing.
If we would wish to extend that theme of honesty, could we agree that I am not actually taking real estate from you right?
There seems like there is a limitless amount of space here on the forum. I might be wrong but I haven't hit a wall yet.
I've looked at your posts. Have I stopped you from saying something that you have wanted to say here?
Have I blocked you somehow in starting a post?
As far as unfriendly images? I don't know. I work really hard here to be sensitive with all of my postings. Especially the GIFs.

Hey, come on now, enough bad laundry out here. We'll scare away the new sock puppet.

Re: Hi
Anything missing from what I've already said? I think depression is a mindset that needs to be destroyed when facing it. So you may find me effortful in that pursuit.
What I know the most about depression, is that it stems from the lack of solution-orientation, and also, that at very often it is self-defensive, meaning that the mindset seeks to defend itself against being taken out of misery. This form of resistance is itself hostile to its environment, spawning thoughts, ideas and actions whose targets become the spread of a dystopic reality. The only way to ensure that the spread does not occur, is to destroy it.

Hey, could you give me a real-life example of exactly just what you are talking about?
I don't seem to understand to be able to follow?
Also, are you into anti-depressants?
