The article is too long to read but the premise is simple; The United States prison system is a snapshot of hell.
A study that is covered within this article indicates that it is possible that the United States of America may be the first country in the history of the world to have more documented male on male rape than male upon female. Largely due to our prison system.
When I was young prisons were for rehabilitation.
Giving & developing tools that inmates could use to help them re-ingrain themselves into society.
I think that focus is changing.
