I don't have speakers and find in my later years TV, and especially YouTube clips of it, fairly uninteresting sources of information as they generally lack context and have bias.

See if you can describe what the clip proposes in a few sentences.

You haven't done any research Bill, thats been done by the program makers. Surfing boobtube might be informative entertainment but its not research.

Okay, done that and the "We are all whores" is clearly empirically false even given whatever definition it is of 'whores' that you are using. The "The term god means nothing and everything at the same time" is clearly a contradiction and so is logically false all the time and is essentially a meaningless phrase that I presume you think has some meaning?

We are all equal in the eyes of god. You are not above anyone.

You contradict yourself as if the term 'god' means nothing then there is nothing to be equal before. Lets say there is something and it means everything, and assume that you mean the Christian 'God', then your second sentence does not follow, as being equal in the eyes of 'God' does not imply that we are equal in each others. Something that your 'God' and its Bible clearly state, men are above women, fathers are above children and wives, parents are above children, theists are above pantheists, the sinned against are above the sinners, saints are above the faithful, those in heaven are above those in hell, etc, etc.

I volunteer at my church during a rummage sale type of fund raiser.


I don't know if you have that type of resource in your country but I have seen speakers for computers for about the price of a cup of coffee.

Do you know the brand & type of computer that you have?


I am sorry but you are unable to participate in this type of thread.


You are missing a HUGE aspect of the miracle of computers.


Just thinking quick - headphones might be an alternative. Again, even some new headphones can be obtained inexpensively.

You misunderstand, I choose not to have speakers or at least can't be bothered to replace them and in the main choose not to watch or use boobtube or any of the other 'social' apps like wastebook and twatter(although the irony of the name Twitter does not escape me).

You are missing a HUGE aspect of the miracle of computers.

Maybe, maybe not, as so far all I see is surfing for the sake of one own biases. In the main I prefer reading to get my information and from various sources. Whilst I agree that the Internet and World Wide Web have their uses and are an important resource and are fast becoming an integral part of a moderns life there is a danger that people think they are actually making a difference in real life instead of actually acting in that life.

Take this post of yours. It clearly demonstrates one of your cultural biases as you change the cultural context of it being a consequence of a belief in a pantheistic goddess to an issue of your theistic 'god'. Why? And especially why in a philosophy forum. I'd also be interested in what you are doing in your life to assist these children.
