but does that mean anything else
if i were to walk into a police station here in texas and open up with a .22 snub nose revolver i would be immediately shot multiple times with vastly superior weapons - i would not stand a chance
there would be nothing resembling balance between the two sides
but would that mean that the police would not be justified in their actions
note i am not drawing any parallels here - just pointing out that there mere fact that there is no equivalence between the two sides does not have much in the way of moral significance
is hamas any more merciful or are they simply in the unfortunate position of having shitty rockets. Israel strikes with f 16 , meg and maybe raptors while Hamas fires poor old rockets . And percentage oh losses in lives has been always like this throughout history . They strike civilians with no mercy , have you heard of the family that was found killed in gaza a week ago ?
phoning people ahead of a bombing and telling them to leave the area does not make israelis good guys but it contradicts the narrative that the israelis are merciless killers who enjoy killing children
for me i think the best story that summarizes israel is actually in west bank
there is a problem with settlers attacking palestinian children going to school
so israeli authorities actually sent soldiers to protect the children from the settlers
this shows two things
one is that the israelis are not the inhuman monsters of the usual anti israeli narrative
two is that they are solving the wrong fucking problem here - the proper solution would be to shoot the settlers in the head and then go for a beer so that they dont have to schlep along with the palestinian children to school
