Please, no links without an explanation or comment. Anyway, as the link says, Canada is politically far to the left of the U.S.A. Both Republicans and Democrats are the scum of the Earth, supporting big government that suppresses economic and personal freedom. Long live the American Energy Party that hasn't even been born yet!reasonvemotion wrote:http://ca.news.yahoo.com/blogs/daily-bu ... 01548.html

A single vote is the basis of democracy, and has enabled the democratic peoples to change their leadership.bobevenson wrote:I'm not arguing that point at all. What I am saying is that only a fool thinks his single vote is important or will have any effect on anything at all, and only a damned fool will try to convince me that I'm wrong!chaz wyman wrote:Democracy is BASED on the single vote.

Again, while I have no quibble with your point, you fail to address mine at all, perhaps because you are unable to rationally do so. While voting in general is obviously important, the vote of a single individual means absolutely nothing at all. If you are unable to comprehend this, it is because you fail to understand reality itself.chaz wyman wrote:A single vote is the basis of democracy, and has enabled the democratic peoples to change their leadership.bobevenson wrote:I'm not arguing that point at all. This is why it is vital for everyone to vote.bobevenson wrote:Again, while I have no quibble with your point, you fail to address mine at all, perhaps because you are unable to rationally do so. A single vote means everything. If everyone thought like you then the world would be run by petty dictators.
and that is why you are a moron.

My friend, it is you who are a moron, and an ignorant one at that, and you don"t have the right to be ignorant on this issue since I have made my position crystal clear and unassailable. Again, while it is absolutely critical that one has the right to cast a vote, the act of casting that vote has abolutely no importance whatsoever, save assuaging one's own emotional state and/or conscience. To take the position that his vote means anything else is ludicrousness personified.chaz wyman wrote:A single vote means everything. What you are saying here is that voting is meaningless.bobevenson wrote:My friend, it is you who are a moron, and an ignorant one at that, and you don"t have the right to be ignorant on this issue since I have made my position crystal clear and unassailable. Just because I am correct in pointing out that a single vote is meaningless, on what logical basis does that mean I should be living in China? Don't you understand how foolish this makes you look, or do you simply not care?chaz wyman wrote:What you are saying here is that voting is meaningless.bobevenson wrote:My friend, it is you who are a moron, and an ignorant one at that, and you don"t have the right to be ignorant on this issue since I have made my position crystal clear and unassailable. China is a place without a single vote.bobevenson wrote:Just because I am correct in pointing out that a single vote is meaningless, on what logical basis does that mean I should be living in China?
