[The Voice of Time]

I was browsing the pirate bay for some movies when I saw this album (http://open.spotify.com/album/5aD1zHf6VYLldRofmApdJM or if you're one of those sad countries not blessed with Spotify, then http://www.last.fm/music/Ye+Banished+Privateers or find it on ThePirateBay.se) advertised on the front-page (advertising that it wasfree and intentionally so from the makers). I really liked it, also feels good that I'm not dodging pay from anybody (think this mock-song must have been influencing me lately: http://open.spotify.com/track/4meWaS5tzF1IDU7DrwHmxZ or http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Don%27t_download_this_song).

Thought the album really cool, making me do something I don't do too often: sing along with the song. Music is pirate-style with diatonic button accordion (which is an instrument I play myself btw), but very creative and different than the other things out there, with a folkmusic sense to it stronger than much folkmusic. For some reason I can't help but picture all the individuals singing also, it's like watching a pirate play in the theatre just inside your head instead ^^

Hope some of you like it as well My favourite is the song - 'bout me father - , makes me sing "let's rise against the govnor!!!"

the song you posted " "let's rise against the govnor!!!" reminded me of a past governor of the state i live in (minnesota, usa) and his name was Jessie Ventura, a former WorldWide Wrestler champion. i laughed because good luck with him

that aside, his blip in office has passed, and i know or see nothing of it, who knows where the hell he is now?

if you don't have Spotify (music-streaming service paid through monthly subscription or alternatively free with commercial but then you need invite) you'll need to download from The Pirate bay, quick search on the bay's website should give lots of torrents. Always choose the most popular (in seeding at least, so you get maximum download speed).
