Is there a God? If so, what is She like?

Sex The Bible v The Koran

Post by reasonvemotion »

The Koran
Koran mentions to have bath after sex with wife but no mention on wet dreams etc. But if you ponder on the Koranic instructions, you are unclean when you discharge
as you don't discharge just like that as there will be either due to wet dreams or masturbation and both are unclean. So follow Koran's instructions to have bath whether it is just discharge or after sex. Don't forget Allah in the Koran also mentions that in case of water unavailability one can Tyamam(Wudu with clean sand).

Allah Hafiz!

The Bible

If you think about it, you will have to agree that sex is a subject frequently addressed in the Scriptures, both Old Testament and New. Though the Bible handles this subject matter much differently than the secular world, it does have much to say on the subject. I can only think of one reason for matters pertaining to sex to be so frequently discussed in the Bible—sexuality must be very closely related to spirituality.

Many people are affected by sexuality in a spiritual way . I think they have some feeling of appreciation for such pleasure or something . So I also think there is relation generated between spirituality and sexuality , specially in those people who tend to spirituality and religion by nature .

The meaning of poetry has no sureness of direction; is like the sling, it is not under control.

-Jalalu'ddin Rumi

JALALUD'DIN RUMI, THE THIRTEENTH-CENTURY Persian lawyer-divine and Sufi, widely considered literature's greatest mystical poet. In the Islamic world today, Rumi is read for much the same reasons he was revered during his life: for his excellence as a poet; for his rare ability to empathize with humans.
Passion in Rumi

"the way you make love is the way God will be with you.

So these two were lost in their sexual trance. They did not care anymore about feasting or wine. Their eyes were closed like perfectly matching calligraphy lines. There is a joy, a winelike freedom that dissolves the mind and restores the spirit,…" (The Mathnawi 6:3914-3979 taken from The Essential Rumi p.185)

There are also common descriptions of seeing the past and future, traveling across time and space or overwhelming feelings of pure love.

The concept that we are more than mere physical bodies may be difficult to accept at first but the emerging field of Energy Psychology in the West is beginning to validate these age-old concepts of the body as energy fields.

One does not have to spend years in training to experience spontaneous, spiritual sex but it may be helpful to be open to the possibility of connecting higher states of awareness with peak sexual experiences.

There are different beliefs among the two religions about sex. Whatever it is, we should just respect this matter.

Makes reason that sex and sperm is unclean. Though I'm a dirty boy who smears the sperm all over me when I'm done because I'm too lazy to go and clean (wonder what all those people I shake hands with or touch later thinks about that?). Probably not Muslim-material then.

Anyways, though cleaning doesn't cure you, there is more than one reason why we use condoms today than just to not have babies.

And you were complaining about standards in the politics forum? I really didn't feel the need to know that.

Oh it's very philosophical.... ehm... natural study of human after-sex habbits ;) There you go. It's... it's... well it touches on many subjects: ethics, ontology, existentialism, logic, epistemology... religion versus carelessism... and yeah, very philosophical. Could probably make an forum for it... the Philosophy of After-Sex Habbits :)
