If I believe Moses split the red sea to pass with his people to the next shore before the pharaoh and his soldiers catch and exterminate them . If I believe Jesus brought dead people to life again and healed deafness , then it's more easy and simple to believe such story . ...
Then you'd be believing myth and nonsense but I accept that if you believe this then you'll just about believe anything you are told.
You can't get with your mind out of logical and reasonable rules , what if I told you that God is the creator of materialistic rules ( from gravity and Oxygen percentage in air to the number of cells in your brain ) .
I'd say you have a proposal that cannot be tested. Science can never disprove the existence of a 'God', one, because they're not trying to and, two, because the religious can always say 'God' started it with no contradiction other than that such an explanation explains nothing about the materialistic world.
If you look deeply at the universe you can't find one single mistake , the sun never gets one inch out of it's orbit and never absents .
What is it that you think the Sun is orbiting? If the world was to be made perfect by a 'creator' then why did 'it' not use circles rather than ellipses? The moon is moving out by an inch a year and would probably stabilise in 15 billion years but by then the world will not exist as in 5 billion years the Sun will be a red giant and have destroyed the Earth and its Moon, what perfection is this?
Perfect formation of your body , vision ability , the hearing and smelling .
Your 'God' also appears to like the blind, malformed and disabled.
The nature was made with perfect balance between all species , we are the only element in the world who has the ability to dominate and use all other elements for food , medication , clothing and all other uses . How can I disbelieve in God !!
99% of all species that have ever lived are now extinct, what makes you think this primate will escape such a fate? How can you believe in a being that created us in a form that requires all those things just to survive? If we are dominating the other species then this 'perfect balance' is in danger, why did your 'God' make such an error?

Oh , I look like a retard now ! My mind is imprisoned inside ? If so I wouldn't be here doing that thing which is called "thinking" . And religions essentially magnetize people through emotion and morals before mental reasons , according to your perspective that considers religions as poison, then mankind was (coincidentally) existed in this world with a destructive flaw or fault called heart that might lead someone to live his life according to specific rules or even spend his coincidental life for the sake of the thing he believes in . What an error makes people believe in the afterlife and metaphysic .

khalid

the problem with the argument from design is not so much that it is wrong but it is independently of whether it is right or wrong not a scientific argument

'god did it' does in any any way advance science

the explanation may have value but it has no scientific value

a scientist who decides that god created everything will not as a result be better able to do anything scientific better than before
