i got in trouble again

Post by Kayla »

i managed to stay out of trouble so far this year

until last friday

the civics teacher decided to bring up that black kid who was murdered by the neigborhood watch asshole in floriday

well this one retard looked at me and said your boyfriend is next and did his stupid beavis and butthead laugh

my boyfriend is black btw to provide some context here and i am not

so when he turned away from me i got up and slammed his face into the desk giving him a bloody nose

i am claiming self defense and no one can prove otherwise

i have to see the fucking principal first thing monday morning together with a parent or guardian

my dad says that i should have slammed his face hard enough to break his nose i did not

my mom is horrified she is like jesus would not do that i am like mom i am not fucking jesus she is like dont talk like that about jesus

my brothers are with my dad on this one

my boyfriend who is like the most sensible person ever says i could have handled it better like maybe beating him up after school off school grounds or something its not like i would have trouble finding some help for that

This is a philosophy forum, Kayla, not a confessional. What do you want us to say—that violence is the answer to bigotry?

Speaking as a teacher, most schools (in the UK) I know, have a policy of racial tolerance, which would have got that moron into big trouble and thrown out on his arse.
This would mean that you would not have had to smash his fuck-witted, moronic, butt-headed face into the desk.
What is your school's policy on racial abuse?

You mean you are going to lie? Very Christian of you.

Why not just claim justifiable provocation?
my mom is horrified she is like jesus would not do that i am like mom i am not fucking jesus she is like dont talk like that about jesus
And yet you call yourself a Christian?

it would have to be something overt like calling someone a n***** to get into serious trouble

he did get himself a two day suspension and a whackload of detensions and will probably be sentenced to sensitivity classes

because this is not the first time i acted violently the police actually got involved although the cop who was at the school yesterday morning was cool, he was like yea i'd probably do the same thing but rules are rules i have to do the paperwork and stuff

and i did not call the principal a fucking twert or anything

i will have a meeting with some sort of alternative diversion court thingy and will probably be sentenced to anger management and community service the specifics have not been scheduled yet

and i got suspended for four days

my mom is like since you will have all this time on your hands you might as well do a thorough cleaning of the house

i am starting with moving some furniture and steam-cleaning the carpets

my bf said he will pretend to be sick tomorrow and will come over to help

he is wonderful

I agree with Mick here.

What is this thing in us that wants to punish? Kayla punish the bigot for a derogatory remark and the school punished Kayla for punishing the bigot.

There are consequences in life for everything...I think mainly because we wish to control our environment. We want to be free...but we don't want others to be free.

Kayla - top tip for housecleaning - start at the top and work down.
Cleaning the carpets should be the last thing, otherwise they'll just get full of crap when you start treading on them, carrying other stuff about, dusting, etc etc. Good that yr BF is coming round to help. Have fun!

Cleaning the fridge is wise.
Some mornings, after a wild night, i look in the fridge and think... "Y'know that lump of green furry stuff I was meaning to throw out?... I can't see it anywhere."

it would have to be something overt like calling someone a n***** to get into serious trouble

Given what that moron said - it would have been enough.

he did get himself a two day suspension and a whackload of detensions and will probably be sentenced to sensitivity classes

Result!!!

because this is not the first time i acted violently the police actually got involved although the cop who was at the school yesterday morning was cool, he was like yea i'd probably do the same thing but rules are rules i have to do the paperwork and stuff

Excellent!

and i did not call the principal a fucking twert or anything

i will have a meeting with some sort of alternative diversion court thingy and will probably be sentenced to anger management and community service the specifics have not been scheduled yet

and i got suspended for four days

A bit excessive I think. At least you got a few days off.

my mom is like since you will have all this time on your hands you might as well do a thorough cleaning of the house

i am starting with moving some furniture and steam-cleaning the carpets

At least you don't have your dad and bro all over your arse.

my bf said he will pretend to be sick tomorrow and will come over to help

he is wonderful

Wow - double result!!

All's well that ends well.

the bathrooms look spotless, the fridge is clean and organized the freezer no longer has huge chunks of ice inside

the kitchen is almost spotless the silverware looks silvery and the stemware has been rewashed and no longer has waterspots al over

loads of dust is all gone but my throat fills a bit funny from inhaling all the dust

dinner is ready and is being kept warm in the over waiting for everyone to show up and my bf is coming over for dinner yay!

cream of spinach soup to start, then deep-fried catfish, mashed potatos and russian beet and dill pickle salad (my math teachers recipe) and peach cobbler for desert
the beet salad is not in the oven though its in the fridge

i feel kind of bad about my parents having to go see the vice principle yesterday morning when they had important shit at work

in retrospect maybe violence was not the answer

dont get me wrong i do not feel bad about hurting the beevis and butthead laugh guy (what the fuck is his name? i just realized that i have no slightest idea what his name is) but i do feel bad about wasting my parents time and getting people to do gobs of paperwork they would not otherwise have to do

and i am missing a couple of biggish tests so there will be a bit of a hit in my marks
