he's not an unknown or crack pot , big claims for someone who can't be bothered to check out his site , or knows anything about him ,
Michael is using existing maths to demonstrate the photon decay ,
he's not asking you to accept unproven theories ,
the radio isotope rate of decay has been established ,

Oppps! Maths does not demonstrate. Maths can be used to model. But you are wrong if you think this process can demonstrate anything. He assumes that the phenomenon of red-shift can be used to assert the idea of 'tired light', he THEN applies maths as a model to quantify it. This is not proof. You really need to understand what is going on here and the direction of inference, if you are to be taken seriously.

who have credentials and degrees in physics ,
and claim to be able to disprove the bbt ,
I don't agree with some of Pauls claims , but the point is ,
not all scientists agree on this bbt , there is plenty of alternative views ,
from people just as qualified to make such claims ,
I have looked for the proof the universe is expanding ,
there doesn't appear to be any , it's all based on the red shift ,
being PROOF the universe is expanding,
and it's not proof , there are other explanations that fit the observational data better ,
so Chaz , what other proof is there for this expansion,
I would have thought if they could they would have come up with the proof by now ,
give me one real solid proof other than the red shift , that it's expanding,,!!

I am interested in why bureacrats are used as an example of the "stupidity of others". The example of stupidity was defined as "poor reasoning, entrenched mental habits and unexamined assumptions" but that describes the bulk of the working population. I have not in my working life seen "free thinking " on any job description, entrenched mental habits are the rules of the job and unexamined assumptions don't pay the bills. Any "open discussion" on stupidity has to be that we (me included) work in a system that at the moment displays all three traits but guess what I will be doing next week ....
