I just read a book of Camus' short stories - "Exile & the Kingdom."

Does anyone understand the background of the story of the seminarian who ran away, was captured, became an idol worshiper & then died? (The Renegade.)

Hello Philosophy Now forum- I will cop to being an amateur philosopher. It's always been an interest of mine, but I've never had any formal training. My own efforts have been all over the board. But you know, you get older & think- "I'd like to figure this stuff out! I'd better get reading....
