Re: The Male and Female Relationship.
I like how you think. It’s mature, intelligent and enlightening. Some people are just not as far along the path as others, so to work, most relationships need to be in sync spiritually, and part of my failure to meet the right person has been because each of us have been at very different stages of...

Re: The Male and Female Relationship.
You are very welcome. And what you said above is very well put. Mark Thankyou for recognising your own soul. 🫶 If people only learnt how to love, to truly love, without fear, life would be much more bearable on this earth. I strongly believe that all of us are just pure love at heart, and would lov...

Re: The Male and Female Relationship.
Hi Fairy, Great question my friend. There is such a huge volume that can be said on this matter........like a million rabbit holes one can go down. I'll see if I can toss a larger more general net as a reply. I believe it all boils down to why we are here in the 1st place. Here, meaning, here on ea...

Tolerance...........
...........it is better to know the circumstances.........for tolerance can change depending......
In general, IMO, it is to observe without judgement.

Re: hi
I certainly would question the purpose of 'debating' some thing here. For, obviously, if what it wants to present has been proved, and thus is True, Right, Accurate, and/or Correct, then just present the proof for such. But, if it wants to just find someone with an opposing view or belief, and want...

Perhaps he likes debating? What's it to you? Perhaps. What does it mean to me? LOL....it appears you missed the point. Or perhaps you like debating. And the reason people rarely respond to these 'Introduce yourself' threads is because they are often bots who never come back, speaking of which after...

Re: Favorite Quote?
I would say, that is a little different. But a good one nonetheless. I suspect all kids heard that growing up. Tried and true throughout the years I would say. It is kind of funny (or not) how something happens that seems pretty bad and you (we all) get all upset. Just to find out later it was a GOO...

Re: Favorite Quote?
What does that mean? Good morning my friend accelafine. What does " Nothing is, until you make it so ." mean? This is what it means to me.... everything outside of you are "events". When you perceive an event, you (we all of course) give it a value. For example .: Say you get in...

Re: We need philosophy now more than ever
If we would be able to turn on a machine that could do anything for us, should we do it? No. What is the purpose of us, humans, as thinking and emotional entities in the world? To learn and grow. If we are the last step to a next level intelligent species, how should we face this fact? With the gre...

Hi there, MERC, I am intrigued...... Noticing no one has responded to you, I thought I would. What I am intrigued about is this.: 1. You came here to "...debate...". To debate can be interpreted as, your already having preconceived notions and you want to defend them. You did not say you w...

This appears to be an older post........a few years. Maybe it can be resurrected.
It is difficult for me to whittle my likable quotes down to one. But there is one I think of often and it goes like this... "Nothing is, until you make it so."

Hi nemos.
I am aware your post is a few years old.
Was there a question you are asking? If so, I missed it.

. 1. That I woke up. 2. I think how fortunate I am to have all my arms & legs.....and in good workin gorder. 3. That I can (and do) get out of bed without being tethered to a machine. 4. I can get my own food and I have food in the house. 5. Coffee. 6. Etc... I go through an appreciation of wha...
