Chester is an eccentric living under a bridge in Minneapolis. His castle is now threatened by the construction of a bikeway. I think that eccentrics are valuable community resources. In France you are ground down by convention. Only rich and famous people can afford to be authentic. Gérard Depardieu for example, who allowed himself to be rude when talking to the BBC.
