Synchronicity

Jung in creating the concept of synchronicity sketched a way in which we might penetrate deeper into the inter-relation of psyche and matter. Are psyche and matter actually the same phenomenon. One is observed from within and the other from "without".
Synchronicity means a "meaningful" (emphasis) coincidence of outer and inner events, that are not themselves causally connected. These events almost invariably accompany the crucial phases of the process of individuation. But, too often they are unnoticed because the individual has not learned to watch for such coincidences and to make them meaningful in relation to the symbolism of his dreams.
As soon as we notice certain types of event "like" to cluster together at certain times, we can understand the attitude of the Chinese whose theories of medicine and philosophy are based on. "Intrinsic to many forms of alternative medicine is an implicit interconnectedness. A "science" of meaningful coincidences. It is not asked what causes what, but rather what likes to occur with what. (The Theory of Chinese Medicine)

Apology. Quote which I did not include in my initial post, was what I was responding to.
Listen...some idiots have dreams....all the time. The ones that somehow resemble what happens they remember.
They forget about the 99% that resulted in nothing...but that 1% that sort of resembles an event that happened afterwards, they cling unto.

Could it be more than clinging to a dream?

R.E.M?

Do we need a lyrics quiz thread or one linked in to relevant terms on the forum? Or has that already been done? Lynn

Try all day every day of ''synchronicity"...for many months on end where you wish it would end....
Then try telling me that the Chinese with their traditional medicine have a fucking clue...mix up some tiger balls into a potion and call it an aphrodisiac...give me a fucking break....the Chinese haven't a clue as to what you are alluding to.
Do
YOU know what you are alluding to?

The example given by Veg was a perfect example.
I do not know why she chose to delete it. Here on this forum was a person who had experienced what I have written.
Yes, I do know what I am alluding to and you do not.

Do you understand what you are ACTUALLY alluding to....or are you just another loose cannon on the ""SPIRITUAL"" wagon.
God...or call it what you will....is far more precise than such wishy whashy dreamy sentiments you perhaps cling to...from personal experience (no apology)

Yea a sort of empathy in cluster of events.it could mean that there is only one experiencer of all events by all observers pass present an future.because the clusters are them selves relating to one another just by this post on the subject of syncranisity.so this post is syncronising the sycronisitys as it where.
